Qualified candidates will possess these qualities:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, hospital experience a plus
- Fluency with the HL7 2.x file format for ADT and clinical messages
- Experience with IHE Technical Framework profiles for healthcare interoperability is a plus.
- .NET development experience in healthcare is a plus.
- A thorough understanding of how interface development projects work
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed specifications and other documents for but technical and management audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to be a self-starter when working in a telecommuting position with little direct supervision
